As Speaker of the House, she is only a heartbeat or two away from the presidency.  No nightmare could be more frightening.  The woman is incompetent and full of herself.  She is a consummate politician and narcissist.  Her epic tome, "Know Your Power", spews forth her rantings of a woman in charge who intends to stay in command come hell or high water.  Her manifesto has indeed found its proper place lining the bottoms of birdcages for those sorry few who purchased it. 

Her irrational banging of the gavel to shut the House and to turn off the lights for a five week vacation without allowing an up or down vote on oil drillling was the height of arrogance.  Republican house members refused to leave and have continued to hold the fort on behalf of the American people.  The MSM certainly has done their part by not reporting on their efforts.  Energy independence is the number one national security issue facing America today.  Every option should be on the table.  Dear Madame made an appearance on a Sunday talk show where she denied any responsibility for the 14 percent approval rating of Congress. She gleefully blamed the President for not ending the war in Iraq, not opening the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and for the high energy prices and lack of workable energy policies.  She espoused that the oil companies should pay royalties to the American people for any oil that is drilled domestically if they are ever allowed to drill.

Even more disturbing is a recent report that the Dear Madam ordered the removal of a memorial poster of photographs of fallen soldiers from the hallway outside a Congressman`s office.  Whatever the motive for this action, she is callous, calculating and cold.  She is not qualified to be in Congress, let alone Speaker of the House. She is totally irresponsible and oblivious to the needs of the American people.  She should be impeached.  Tomorrow, she will take center stage at the Democratic Convention and pontificate once again to the masses.  Why would  anyone want to hear what she has to say?

A horrific monster is on trial for his life in Idaho.  There is no need to go into the excrutiating details of the unspeakable crimes he committed against an innocent family and the unending nightmares which will haunt them for the rest of their days.  The only question is:  Why is he still breathing?  Upon his capture, someone had to read him his rights before begrudingly, and with a great deal of  super human restraint, taking him off to protective custody.  He was then assigned a lawyer and has been provided with three hots and a cot, all on the backs of the US taxpayers.  Not a bad gig for a sadistic child rapist/murderer.  Should a jury find him guilty and the very deserving "just desserts" death penalty imposed, he can and will file any number of appeals and remain in the system until his own pitiful, lonely death by natural, hopefully very painful, causes occurs.  This maggot should have been shot between the eyes immediately.  Since he is still with us, only fantasies of his just and extremely brutal punishment and pain will suffice us until his may-he-forever-rot-in-hell end.

Recently, it was reported that a small boy suffocated in a hot car in Houston.  The little three year old boy had managed to crawl out of his car seat to try to save himself.  Sadly, it was a futile attempt for this brave, little guy because the car doors were locked.  Too late, his mother came off her hospital shift to find him unresponsive.  She valiently broke the window to try to save him.  She then told authorities she had "forgotten" he was in the car.  The dirty little secret is she probably would not pay a babysitter to care for him.  What will happen to this mother?  Does she deserve to have another child?  Are the American taxpayers to blame because this woman, honorable and loving to be sure, did not have the funds to put the child in daycare or hire a babysitter to care for him?  Or is the answer she was just too stupid to realize that 90 degrees outside a car is more than 120 degrees inside?  She didn`t even have the sense to crack the windows for him to breathe.  In a just and perfect world, she should hear his last cries until her dying day.

Another extremely disturbing occurrence is the missing little girl in Florida. Her mother had been conducting her own investigation into the child`s disappearance before reporting it to her family and the police after more than a month.  This mother now sits in jail on child neglect charges.  She has not been cooperative with the very authorities who could help her find her child.  The father of the little girl is said to be "dead".  The mother is known as a pathological liar, even to her parents.  There are photographs of her partying with friends during the timeline of her daughter`s disappearance.  The grandparents are suffering because she will not tell them anything that resembles the truth.  Now, some bounty hunters and bail bondsmen from across the country have flown in with ready cash to release her.  Cynics would say  these men want to jump in on the notoriety of the case and make international names for themselves.  Because of their greed, this pathetic excuse for a mother will be set free if only to continue her "investigation" and grant interviews to those who will pay her.  The little girl will undoubtedly remain "missing".  Many theories are being bantered about as to the child`s whereabouts.  Maybe this little girl died accidently or  she was sold for some nefarious purpose.  The mother of this child is the sole instigator of this scam and of the lame excuses she has given for her daughter`s disappearance.  This woman should be subjected to mandatory sterilization immediately, whether found guilty or "innocent".  If not, she will no doubt propagate and bring another little helpless soul into her sick world, possibly as the offspring of another "dead" father, at least as far as any child support or responsible parenting skills.

There are far too many stories that tell of children born to mothers who have no ideas as to the identities of the fathers. Or they know who the fathers are, the fathers are just worthless.  Shouldn`t a basic IQ test be required before people have children they have given no thought about raising or caring for?  Young men and women need to take responsibility for their happy, carefree sexual activities.  They should be aware of the consequences of a tiny child who has no choice but who just happened to turn up nine months later, at least for those great parents who can count to nine. 

There is not much anyone can do to protect innocent children from child predators. Nothing is humanly possible to protect a child from being born to the wrong parents.  We continue to hope perpetrators are apprehended before they hurt any more children and justice  done under the law.  We can only hope the children who are born into the wrong families stay safe out of  pure survival instincts and grow up to be productive individuals.  It must also be said that a parent who does not have the basic capacity to care for her own child and loses one due to her own gross neglect, should not be afforded another right to have more children.  She should undergo mandatory sterilization and forfeit her rights to add to the gene pool.  Innocent lives must be protected!

Too many beautiful children are crying today for any number of reasons.  They may be spoiled, tired, or hungry.  They could be victims of abuse.  The news and internet are swamped with many tales of abandonment, physical and emotional abuse, imprisonment, neglect and even murder of the most innocent among us.  Horrific details emerge daily which can cause the most hardened of hearts to break and weep.  Too often, a child has been kidnapped by a predator never to be seen again.  The intense and profound pain caused by the loss of a child in this unspeakable manner cannot be measured and many parents never recover from the devastation. 

Immediate execution upon apprehension of these perpetrators should be a no-brainer.  Chemical castration for convicted pedophiles has been debated and should be the Rule of Law for the land.  Chemical castration would immediately take away the physical urges to sexually abuse children again. Undoubtedly, it would not take away the sick and delusional memories of their acts which they would continue to harbor and enhance until their dying days.  Spending fifteen minutes alone in the dark with the fathers of their victims is an appealing option.  Housing them in the General Population of prison and not Protective Custody would reap many rewards for those who believe in justice, as in an eye for an eye.  However, these vigilante methods, while extremely worthwhile and satisfying to ponder, impinge upon the unalienable rights of the perps.  This certainly cannot happen in our enlightened age.  And it still begs the question of the rights of the child victims which are practically non-existent. 

For a child to be taken from his family and abused at the hands of a sociopathic and sadistic stranger is a never-ending nightmare.   Sadly, much of the heinous abuse toward a child is caused by the hand of a parent or close family member.  A mother whom the child loves, trusts and reveres with all his heart is often culpable of  inflicting intentional physical and emotional injuries to her own flesh and blood.   Uncles, cousins, fathers and even grandfathers have been known to commit sexual proclivities against their tiny, trusting family members who have been bribed or coddled into keeping "our little secret". 

Babies have no choice to whom they are born.  Life is a "crap shoot" for these little ones who arrive with rousing cries upon entering the real world.  Many children have been eagerly awaited by loving families and their births are joyous occastions.  Yet, sometimes, the little ones wind up in  virtual hellholes and are forced to live with the consequences of arriving in the wrong places to the wrong families. Little newborn babies and chubby toddlers love to smile, be held and loved. They were not borne to be flushed down toilets or put into a garbage cans by mothers who were so busy partying they forgot to use birth control or to write down the phone numbers of the last sperm donors they slept with.  Resentment of an unwanted birth kicks in and soon the child does not understand why mommy is burning him with cigarettes or hanging him on a doorstop to be beaten with a belt.  Far too many children are starved, have never been washed, have no clothes, are kept in cages and live in their own excrement.  The litanies of abuse are never-ending and any thinking, feeling person`s imagination can barely touch the tip of the iceberg of the horrors some children experience daily.

Eugenics is a dirty word to many.  Discussion of mandatory IQ tests for prospective parents and sterilization for those lacking in brain matter are also "forbidden" and are not to be spoken of in polite society.  We must wake up to the rampant emotional and physical abuse that happens behind the closed doors of too many families in America.  We must continue to apprehend and punish the child predators and sociopaths who prey on children.  We must answer the tormented cries of these innocents.
